PlayStation's Paris Games Week show Releases New Games

As you can imagine, it was announced specifically for PlayStation 4, but given Spelunky's history and origins, the sequel is a shoo-in for PC. And so, along with Eirik Suhrke (Spelunky's musician), we began working on Spelunky 2 and have been at it for a couple of years now. Though we do at least have one big detail: you play as the child of the protagonist of Spelunky 1. Still, there is no release date but here is something to ease the pain until the launch.

Sony told fans that they should tune in this week for their Paris Games Week presentation.

The game, which doesn't yet have a release date, features "a new hero" and, potentially, a new setting, reports Digital Trends.

Sony also reported that they had shipped 4.2 million Playstation 4 units in the quarter making the number of units either sold already or at retail totalling 67.5 million.

Detroit Become Human from David Cage is more interactive movie with mutliple branching paths and storylines than, err, game.

If you didn't have a chance to watch the presentation live, you can still get in on the fun.

This one is one of the most anticipated games for me. Operating income increased 35.8 billion yen year-on-year to 54.8 billion yen. Sony has got us hyped. Intensity, strategy, and an emotional combat connection between Kratos and his son Atreus, is what Santa Monica Studio wants you to feel in the new combat system for God of War.
