Apple Pay Cash is now available in the iOS 11.2 public beta

Likewise, the issue appears to have affected not all the users who have installed iOS 11.1.

Any funds you receive are added to a new Apple Pay Cash card that lives inside the Apple Wallet app on your phone or tablet.

Only on iOS: Apple Pay Cash is available only on iOS, while Venmo, Square Cash and PayPal are available on both Android and iOS devices. There's no fee to use Apple Pay Cash with a debit card. It should automatically show up in your Messages app, as long as you have Apple Pay set up and you're messaging someone that's also running the latest beta.

'You can also transfer your Apple Pay Cash balance to your bank account'.

Apple wants a piece of the $1 trillion spent every year on person-to-person payments, most of which is still done through cash or checks.

This workaround fix should mean that the system prioritizes the manually-added user text replacement over the weird garbled mess that iOS is errantly suggesting.

As well as the autocorrect, a number of other related problems seem to be hitting iOS devices.

Apple's person-to-person payments service has launched in public beta, enabling American users to send money and get paid in Messages.
