Play 'Zelda: Breath of the Wild' With A GameCube Controller

We can now hook up the GameCube controller adapter for Wii U to our Switch consoles to use the fan-favorite peripheral - which is now compatible with four straight Nintendo home consoles in a row, it should be said. (The Switch doesn't have a Virtual Console of any kind yet.) Adding in support for the beloved GameCube controller is an encouraging first step, however - one that Nintendo may even have hinted to back in February.

GameCube controller support on Nintendo Switch is now a thing, boys and girls. And while there's nothing pointing to specific new announcements, at the very least, it works on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. For a game like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, that equates to not having access to your shield. In the past it was sold online by itself or as part of a bundle including Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Unfortunately, the adapter's no longer in production, so you might have to pay a bit extra to get your hands on one.

European Union imposes more sanctions on North Korea
The statement refers to the visit to South Korea this week by Julie Bishop and Marise Payne during which they met their counterparts and visited the truce-village of Panmunjom.

We have good news for anyone with old Game Cube controllers lying about. Another nice feature behind the scenes in this update is the "Customizing Version with Local Users". From here they would have to click on "Transfer Your User and Save Data" to shift to the data to a new system. This is followed by an update that was added to the new shop card for sale games. Then head to the settings for pairing the controllers by pressing the L and R buttons. After the group's creation, the software of all the other members will be updated to the latest version in the group.

If the update is on, you can press the Capture button. Are you excited about the new features it brings?
