Markelle Fultz Out Indefinitely

Now, it's 2017 No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz who's going to miss time due to an injury.

Fultz's shoulder has bothered him all season and the Sixers said last week he would only miss three games.

"Following consultation with several shoulder specialists, including a visit with Dr". Fultz will continue physiotherapy treatment and be reevaluated by Dr. Kibler in roughly three weeks.

Originally, the 76ers said nothing was wrong with Fultz, and then questioned whether Fultz tweaked his shoulder while messing with his jump shot release.

The report also stated that Fultz had to have a cortisone shot in his shoulder back on October 5, suggesting the problem has been there for a while.

Fultz is averaging six points per game, shooting 33 percent from the field, and knocking down just 50 percent of his attempts from the free throw line this season.

There has been confusion as to whether Fultz's shooting tweak caused the injury or began because of the injury.

The best thing for Fultz would be to stop playing until he's fully healthy.

The 76ers traded with the Boston Celtics to get the overall No. 1 pick and draft Fultz.
