Google takes on Sonos, Apple with Google Home Max

Google takes on Sonos, Apple with Google Home Max

More than just a speaker, though, Google Home Max is also a "smart" speaker - meaning it's a voice-controlled device that has Google Assistant built in.

When it comes to audio, the Google Home Mini boasts a 360 degree speaker which is tuned for voice rather than music.

"We created it from scratch, right down to the yarn", said Isabelle Olsson, lead designer for Google Home hardware. Google is also rolling out linked family accounts for Home, so that the device can make household-wide announcements for children in the mornings, to give one of Chandra's use cases. Inside, it's got two 4.5-inch woofers and custom.7-inch tweeters. It's a beefed up version of the standard Google Home with more audio muscle and a rectangular design that works in either portrait or landscape mode. Buyers will also a free subscription to the company's YouTube Red service for a year. Google will eventually bring the device to all seven countries where the Google Home is officially available.

Apple confirms investigation into reports of iPhone 8 falling apart
But if you have the iPhone 7 , you really don't need to upgrade to the iPhone 8 because it really isn't that much of an upgrade. The handsets look very similar to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but feature wireless charging and improved cameras.

Delta to offer free Mobile Messaging on Flight
Finally, Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. acquired a new position in Delta Air Lines during the third quarter worth about $128,000. Picton Mahoney Asset Management decreased Nvr Inc (NYSE:NVR) stake by 674 shares to 4,089 valued at $9.86 million in 2017Q2.

It has the same fabric-finish like the Google Home Mini. The device is equipped with 4.5-inch woofers that the company claims are of the high-excursion variety and features a rigid case structure specifically created to maintain the compositional integrity of the audio it produces.

Google is selling the Home Max for nearly $400, about $50 more than the HomePod. It will go on sale in December, priced at £399. It will be available at retailers on October 19th and sell for $49. Google says the speaker will, by default, play a little quieter first thing in the morning (but of course you can override this if you need waking up a little more urgently).

Google also souped up the already highly rated camera on the Pixel, boasting that it will take even better photos than the iPhone. The speaker is also created to be set up horizontally or vertically, with a magnetic plastic bottom that you can move to whatever side of the speaker you need to, depending on how you set it up. It costs $249 in the U.S. and will be made available soon.
