Alerts for heavy rains, high winds issued for Cayuga County

There is a small stream flood warning for Irondequoit Creek until 7:45 p.m Monday. Falling leaves will also help to clog drains and exacerbate flooding. Remember, flash flooding is flooding that occurs quickly due to rapidly rising water levels.

A wind advisory has been issued for Newton and surrounding counties, and for all of metro Atlanta.
