Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams Updated Fantasy Impact After Ty Montgomery Injury

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Ty Montgomery's rib injury is not as serious as initially thought.

Former UTEP star running back Aaron Jones found the end zone a couple of times in the preseason, but now he has a regular season touchdown to his name.

Montgomery wasn't the only Green Bay running back who got hurt on Thursday night.

The Packers had said Montgomery had suffered broken ribs.

For the Green Bay Packers, good injury news often comes with a grain of salt. He's believed to be day-to-day and may even be in the Packers' starting lineup when they travel to Dallas next Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are fresh off of a 35-14 victory over the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.

Green Bay felt confident enough in his improvement at the position that it installed him as its lead back for 2017, with just a pair of rookie rushers behind him. Jones also has been knocked for his pass protection, which could cut into his future usage.
