Davide Zappacosta: Chelsea sign Italy defender from Torino

No precise details of the deal have been released by either club as yet but the Mirror claim Chelsea have paid Torino £23m for the 25-year-old right-back.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been searching for cover for Victor Moses and he has moved to bring in Italy global Zappacosta, who can play at right-back, right wing-back or on the right of midfield.

On Zappacosta, a statement on Chelsea's official website read, "Chelsea Football Club has today completed the signing of Davide Zappacosta from Torino".

Torino could accept Chelsea's late bid but they need to find a replacement for Zappacosta before.
