Trump has no plans for Britain visit in near future

China has said that President Xi Jinping will meet with Prime Minister Modi at Friday's G20 Summit in Hamburg at an informal leaders' meeting of the BRICS countries on the sidelines.

Representatives for the White House did not immediately reply to a request for comment. "We see it differently", she said.

Russian Federation is the first leg of Xi's ongoing foreign trip, which will also take him to Germany for a state visit and the upcoming summit of the Group of 20 major economies.

On Sunday, at least 10,000 people in Hamburg peacefully protested the upcoming summit, one of about 30 protests planned in the coming days, in part to protest Trump's policies, including his announced intention to pull the USA out of the climate change agreement.

About 4,000 people marched through the city center Sunday to protest against the climate and trade policies of the world's major developed and emerging economies.
