Hillary Clinton's election book titled 'What Happened'

Clinton has already written several books about her life and career in politics, including "Hard Choices", the 2014 book about her time as secretary of state, and "Living History", a memoir released in 2003.

The book, which chronicled Clinton's doomed campaign, makes multiple references to the former president's constant complaints that his wife was not going out to suburbs and swing states to convince swing voters to cast their ballot for the Democratic ticket. In a press release, Clinton's publisher Simon and Schuster said "she speaks about the challenges of being a strong woman in the public eye, the criticism over her voice, age, and appearance, and the double standard confronting women in politics".

In public remarks since last fall, the Democrat has cited Russian Federation as a factor in her defeat to her Republican opponent, along with a letter sent by then-FBI Director James Comey less than two weeks before the election.

She told the Women in the World Summit in April that she will likely never run for elected office again.

Amie Parnes, the author of The Hill's report, is the co-author of "Shattered" a book detailing "Hillary Clinton's doomed campaign". "They don't understand persuasion", Allen said, adding that Bill Clinton wanted to go to suburban and rural areas where it was likely that Hillary Clinton wouldn't win the majority.

However, as the months went by, Clinton's list of people to blame grew.
