'Get a grip:' John Podesta responds to Trump tweets

John Podesta returned fire at Donald Trump Friday morning after the president claimed that "everyone" at the G20 summit in Germany, somewhat improbably, couldn't stop chatting about the former chairman of Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Trump tweeted minutes later that he is looking forward to his slate of one-on-one meetings with other world leaders on Friday, including his first meeting with Putin as president - the summit's de facto main event.

The hacked DNC emails revealed that party officials favoured Mrs Clinton in the tussle for the presidential nomination, a revelation that soured supporters of her liberal challenger, Bernie Sanders.

What I do know is this, which is why I'm choosing to respond to Trump's tweet: The Russians stole my emails. "Dude, get your head in the game", Podesta tweeted.

Later in the day, upon reaching Kentucky, Podesta submitted an op-ed to The Washington Post in which he wrote: "I had nothing to do with the Democratic National Committee". Trump called Podesta "disgraceful" during the Twitter session.

Federal Bureau of Investigation arrest suspect in case of missing Chinese scholar
The Federal Bureau of Investigations said it has located the vehicle , and that agents are following up on several possible leads. More than 300,000 Chinese students and scholars are studying in the U.S. universities now , the People's Daily reported in June.

Podesta wouldn't have the DNC server to turn over. "You're representing the United States at the G20", Podesta tweeted. The CIA, National Security Agency, FBI and Office of the Director of National Intelligence have all said that Russian Federation was behind the email hacks.

"By all standards he ought to be subject to an investigation on Russian Federation collusion if that's the standard they're using to investigate the Trump team", Fitton said.

Brzezinski said the president's statement is "so wildly out of place that you can't help but think 'what is wrong with him'". "'I have no idea what he's talking about, ' one messaged The Daily Beast".

The DNC responded that Podesta never ran the organization and said it worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security to "kick out" the Russians. "Not trade, climate change, refugees, North Korea, Syria ...they're talking about JOHN PODESTA?!?"

In his tweets Friday, Podesta also expressed exasperation over being the president's focus just hours before Trump was scheduled to hold a high-stakes meeting with the Russian leader.
