Cowboys' Lucky Whitehead arrested for shoplifting in Virginia

The Dallas Cowboys' off-the-field issues continued on Monday, as TMZ Sports reported that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of wide receiver Lucky Whitehead. Rapoport reported that he reviewed Whitehead's flight records from the day he was reportedly arrested, with Whitehead flying out of Dulles International Airport in Washington to Dallas only six hours after his arrest. The subsequent court hearing is set for August 10th, by which time both parties hope to resolve who is at fault.

According to executive vice president Stephen Jones, the Cowboys became aware of the situation on Monday morning.

"This time a year ago, I wasn't the starter but I was the guy out here getting minimal reps at practice", said Prescott before taking the field.

"I didn't even know about that", he told reporters. They called it "a case of mistaken identity".

When asked if firing Whitehead was a possibility, Garrett said - "Oh, absolutely". I NEVER once had an altercation with the cops.

"We understand the message coach Garrett tries to send", Bryant said. He was also involved in a vehicle accident that Garrett learned about through media reports a year ago. He's since been charged for failure to appear.

"We have other guys that they haven't responded to that structure and that way of doing things and they're no longer with our team".

Whitehead, 25, was in the news last week when he said he returned to his Dallas home to find out his dog was being held for ransom. Their star running back, Ezekiel Elliott, is involved in some legal trouble after a nightclub incident.
