Mayor promises Stanley Cup parade, but plans unclear so far

A 2-0 win over the Nashville Predators Sunday night clinched a second consecutive Stanley Cup title for the Pittsburgh Penguins. They added an empty-net goal with 13.6 seconds left to win the game 2-0.

The city of Pittsburgh continues to celebrate the Penguins' second straight Stanley Cup championship.

The Pittsburgh captain led the Cup final in scoring with a goal and seven points in six games and finished second in scoring during the post-season with eight goals and 27 points in 25 games. The Detroit Red Wings in 1997 and '98 were the last champion to defend their title. "We had a lot of injuries and things like that".
