Lexi Thompson takes 1-shot lead in Meijer LPGA Classic

Henderson has a solid lead over South Korean Hur Mi-Jung (66), Spaniard Carlota Ciganda (64) and Lexi Thompson of the U.S. in the US$2 million (RM8.55 million) LPGA Tour event.

But she struggled for consistency in the last four holes, finishing bogey-double bogey-birdie-par to drop down the leaderboard into a share of 14th place with four others. "I think with the two hour delay, I was kind of slow starting, but once I got going on the back nine, I felt really pretty great about my game", said Henderson.

Henderson had seven birdies and three bogeys in the second round, leaving her at 12-under 130 overall. "But this week seems to be a turnaround week, and hopefully I can just finish strong the next two days".

"It was just a stupid club coming in", she said. Ciganda, meanwhile, surged into contention with an eagle and five birdies on the same course where she lost a playoff to Kim Sei-young a year ago.

"It's been a little bit of a rough season so far, not getting the results that I've been looking for".

Ko's 85-week reign as world No.1 ended earlier this week when Thai golfer Ariya Jutanugarn won the Manulife Classic in Cambridge, Ontario. "I feel comfortable. I played here previous year and I'm excited for the weekend".

Former NBA Hall of Famer Heading Back to North Korea
This is Rodman's first visit under President Trump's administration - but there is no evidence that Trump is aware of his travel. North Korea has touted its drone program in recent years, and South Korean officials believe its military has about 300 drones.

San Francisco Giants 2017 draft picks with Bay Area ties
However, with another strong season he could enter the 2018 draft as one of the top closing prospects in the nation. Baseball honoree Colton Shaver was a 39th-round pick, going at No. 1171 overall to the Houston Astros.

Henderson, now 19, burst onto the LPGA scene by winning the Portland Classic by eight strokes in 2015, becoming the third player to triumph before turning 18 after Thompson and Lydia Ko.

"I struck my irons really, really well", Pace said.

New Zealand's Lydio Ko finished the tournament in a tie for tenth after a final round one-under 68 while Australia's Sarah Jane Smith finished in a tie for 37th.

Flooding caused the par five 5th hole to be played as a par three, which saw the course played as a par 69, meaning Thompson's round of 5-under par under was in fact a 64.

Kim had her second 70 to make the cut on the number.
