However, the standout moment from the conference belongs to the long-awaited reveal of Beyond Good and Evil 2. Here, Michel Ancel shows us an in-engine demonstration while talking about what they hope to achieve in the game. Ancel told The Verge that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be structured more like an RPG and is planned to feature both single-player and online cooperative components. Ubisoft indirectly responded to that criticism today by releasing guided footage of Beyond Good and Evil 2, rendered in-engine.

One aspect of the original that will be returning is the ability to take pictures of what is going on in the game, and use those to show other characters as evidence of what you have seen.

Most impressive is the scale of the game. Ancel pulls back the camera not only to show how small the city below is in contrast to the continent but then pulls further back to show the larger planet, larger planets further in space and, finally, the solar system.
