Dangal collected Rs. 18.33 crore at the China box office on its fourth Saturday, taking its 23-day total to Rs. 844 crore in the country. In fact, PK was the first Bollywood film to mint over Rs 100 crore in China and it had done so in 16 days back in 2015. At the worldwide box office it accounts to huge Rs 1622 crores.

And now to give it a neck to neck competition, we have Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, which is very close to toppling Baahubali 2's numbers. With Rs 1,662 crore ($249.8 million) earned by Aamir Khan's Dangal till date, it managed to come one up on Dangal which has earned Rs 1,623 crore worldwide till now. Aamir said, when asked if his sports drama would be able to beat the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, which released on July 7, crossed the Rs 300 crore-mark worldwide in its opening week.

The film revolved around the story of an Indian wrestler and his hardships to train his daughters to become world-class wrestlers.

However, Aamir Khan says it's unfair to compare his film "Dangal" with SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion", as both of them have their own spaces. But can Dangal manage to hold on to its crown as Baahubali 2 is all set to release in China. "When I was approached to get a film made on my life in 2012, I rejected it for eight long months, till the makers convinced me that I just needed to be myself and didn't have to act". But I don't think there should be any comparisons.

"Baahubali 2" is a very successful film.
