According to the new report, this tech will not feature the touch sensor, which previously rumored in the device.

HTC U11 will also arrive with an included DAC adapter. Interestingly, the U11 comes with a preinstalled Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa as well as the new HTC Sense Companion that debuted with the HTC U Ultra. The U11 is where the HTC U brand story should have begun.

HTC's latest flagship also has the highest specification front-facing selfie camera, at 16 megapixels, compared to seven megapixels on the iPhone 7 and eight for the S8.

The U11 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a QHD resolution, not Infinity display though.

The manufacturer also notes that the device has good stereo external speakers and active noise control. However, other details were not revealed. The U11 costs £649 in the United Kingdom and is expected to ship on June 1.

The HTC U11 promises to deliver on camera performance as well.

The handset is equipped with a 12 megapixel UltraPixel 3 camera on the back with OIS, an f/1.7 aperture and a dual LED flash, the rear camera is capable of recording 4K video. The device comes with advanced HDR settings such as HDR+, Smart Video Zoom, 3D Audio and Hi-Res recording features. The HTC U11 offers an impressive set of new features and touts a camera that boasts of an industry leading DXOMark score of 90. The smartphone makers believe that this phone will surely cross the records of HTC 10.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.1 port. From the outside, the phone looks almost identical to that of the HTC U Ultra, with a super-glossy mirror finish on the back in multiple colors. Once the device is launched, the availability and the pricing of the device will be known.
