Android Nougat for Honor 6X now available, thanks to EMUI 5.0

A new device called the Jelly has cropped up on Kickstarter with one goal in mind: to create a "mini-sized phone with full features" that runs on Android Nougat and can deliver Internet connectivity over 4G networks.

The small cute smartphone that can fit in your coin pocket features an itsy bitsy 2.45-inch display with 240 x 432 resolution.

Unihertz Jelly smartphone was launched in April 2017. After rolling out Nougat for beta testing in March, the company has just confirmed that the stable version of the update is now being rolled out to Honor 6X smartphones all around the globe.

The miniscule display makes Jelly handier and easy-to-use compared to the majority of devices which tend to sport huge displays up to 6 inches.

Fiery plane crash caught on video; no injuries
If you don't believe in miracles, you might after seeing this dramatic video of a plane crash just north of Seattle. Amanda Hayes said there was a fireball after that, and she and her co-worker ducked down under the dashboard.

The Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed its pledged amount of $30,000 and reached 684 backers, while still having 34 days to go. Interestingly this can support dual-Nano SIM cards, and has a fully replaceable battery with the company promising three days working time (for average usage) or upto seven days on standby. It has a removable 950 mAh battery and yes it does have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The handset will be available in three colors: Space Black, Sky Blue, and Pearl White.

The device can be connected to Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi connections, and measures a dimension of 92.3x43x13.3mm.

Earlier this year, Huawei subsidiary Honor had promised to release Android Nougat-based EMUI 5.0 software update to its Honor 6X in March, but probably due to emergence of bugs, the roll-out was delayed. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer and Gyroscope.

And if these specs are not up to the mark for you, the company has also introduced Jelly Pro which comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
