Portland Metro Friday Weather: Sun, here it comes

A northeast wind will bring a return to cooler temperatures with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

A steady flow of moisture into the Pacific NW will keep us chilly, under mostly cloudy skies and living with a chance of showers and blustery winds today.

Forecasters are calling for possible showers and thunderstorms today and Sunday, and again on Monday - May 1.

Expect partly cloudy skies tonight.

Finally, with the windy and humid conditions a few scattered showers/storms will be possible during the afternoon/evening on Saturday.

Rain is likely on Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the Harrisburg area, according to the National Weather Service in State College.

Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. Cloudy, with a high near 62. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour could gust to 30 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Wind will be from the north-northeast at 10-15 miles per hour, making it feel more like the upper 40s at times. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. Wednesday night, showers likely.

- A low around 45 Wednesday night, with partly cloudy skies. Increasing clouds, with a low around 60. Temperatures will be more seasonable on Tuesday with highs falling into the mid 70s. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.
