As for not having an act in the final, the 51-year-old quipped: 'I'm all out of opinions until about 2019, so it's OK'.

This year's series will not have an official winner's single, instead, they will immediately begin working on an EP, to be released a matter of weeks after Sunday's final.

Mo's winner's single will be available to stream and download from midnight tonight on iTunes and Apple Music.

The season finale of the United Kingdom edition of "The Voice" turned out to be a memorable one, which had less to do with who won than it did with an onstage intruder and an unexpected F-bomb dropped by coach Tom Jones.
