Lea Michele has had a wonderful time starring on Glee and in Scream Queens, but acting isn't her only interest and, as she reveals with the launch of a new album and tour, making music really is her greatest love.

Lea expresses how hard it was to record her first record while in the midst of filming Glee "It was both professionally and personally an extremely busy time in my life with so much going on. I don't eat candy", said the 30-year-old former "Glee" star. And so her second solo album, "Places", which came out at the end of April, is a bit of a showcase for her Broadway side.

"I can't tell you who it's about but people will interpret it for themselves and make of it what they like", says Lea.

Lea has often marked her love for Cory since, and penned Hey You, a song on her new album Places in memory of her lost love.

"I think the worst was the 'What Does the Fox Say?' song", the star opined. "It was like an internet sensation song that we did with puppets". This is a vocal album, and there are definitely love songs in there, but there's also a sense of freedom. Struggling to find the balance between being transparent with fans while maintaining her privacy, Michele previously admitted how the song nearly did not make the final tracklist as her late boyfriend's death is still a "sensitive subject".

She says playing Rachel Berry was "the most incredible time of my life".
