Cape Town - For anyone who is a fan of X-Men, the tormented, but gentle-natured Logan, or Wolverine, is one of the most hard to love characters from the group. Sometimes, it's good to leave people wanting more with a teaser of what's to come, like the Thor hammer reveal at the end of Iron Man 2. He also tries to make sense of Logan's convoluted timeline and how it may fit with the other X-Men movies.

Recently, the Aussie actor took to Instagram to thank his fans for the long journey.

The video features a much younger and dapper looking Hugh Jackman sinking into his character with the same attitude and poise as he does in his latest movie "Logan", with added aggression on screen.

It's no secret by now that Hugh Jackman plans on retiring his character Wolverine after starring in the new movie Logan. After the happenings of the past, Logan is struggling with his present and subsequently living a "non-chalant" life with his ailing mentor Professor Charles Xavier. The movie ranks along as one of the best reviewed superhero movies. Logan is passionate attractive eulogy to a set of characters that made their way in to film and comic fans hearts everywhere. Regardless of which situation it was, Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine usually provides a strong impact.

"I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do best isn't very nice", the very catch phrase which introduced the legend in making back then, Logan aka Wolverine.

So a Logan sequel is at least theoretically possible, but the most likely version will revolve around X-23 rather than Logan. The film is directed and written by James Mangold, who returns after directing 2013's The Wolverine. But he says he wanted to craft a film that honoured Wolverine's comic book roots. The first comes from the YouTube channel Looper and it offers a quick breakdown of the film's nods to the X-Men comics as well as the other X-Men films. It's also the highest opening for an R-rated movie in March and fifth highest overall for an R-rated movie.
