Gable was sacked from the day care and arrested though she is now out on bail.

A day care worker in Primos, Pennsylvania has been arrested after she was caught on camera pushing a 4-year-old girl down a staircase.

"It still hurts me, just seeing the video", Tavares told CNN affiliate KYW.

According to reports, Gable pushed the child down a small flight of stairs the afternoon of Friday, March 3 at Childcare of the Future in Clifton Heights.

The camera had been installed about a half-hour earlier, according to police.

Gable also is charged with child endangerment and was reportedly fired from her job.

Police have arrested a day care worker who they say was caught on camera shoving a young girl down stairs at the suburban Philadelphia facility last week.

The child was back in daycare on Monday.

Child Care of the Future Daycare center has not yet released a statement at this time.

She is out on a $25,000 bail ahead of a trial. In the video you can see the girl enter the picture at the top of the steps, when for seemingly no reason, Gable approaches from behind and shoves the girl down approximately six steps. We don't treat children here like that.

"She picked up the shoe and tried to come to the end of the stairs like, 'Oh, it was her shoe, '" says Tarvares. When I saw it air I was just like wow. "Her eyes were literally like 'help me'". The child flies down the steps and falls on the landing between a first set of steps and a second set.

The child suffered a knee injury but was still able to return to the school the following class day.
