People familiar with the matter told Wall Street Journal the fingerprint scanner of the S8 would be moved from the home button and placed on the back of the handset.

Samsung has not updated its rival for the iPad Pro for some time, meaning that a refresh for the Galaxy Tab S3 seems sensible as it looks to take on the likes of Apple in the premium tablet market. Samsung hopes strong sales of the Galaxy S8 could help it recover the losses. SamMobile reports the next Note flagship will come with company's voice-assistant "Bixby" in-built.

Several S8 rumors have cropped up over the last few months that suggest that Samsung is planning to change its Galaxy S8 branding. And both displays will of course feature Super AMOLED technology which has garnered much praise over the years.

The tablet is expected to come with 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048 by 1536, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 5MP front camera, 12MP main camera for photos and videos, and 32GB of internal storage. While the Galaxy S8 will be powered by a 3,250mAh battery, the larger variant could be fuelled by a 3,750mAh battery. Also, we can't confirm the authenticity of the leak.
