Killed, 1 Critically Wounded in Shooting on Chicago's Southwest Side

A two-year-old boy and 25-year-old man were killed - and a pregnant woman was wounded - on Tuesday in what authorities suspect was a gang-related shooting, according to Chicago Police.

Lavontay White Jr. was shot in the head.

Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and a third was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, fire officials said.

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she and her unborn child are said to be in stable condition, according to police spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi. A 30-year-old man was riding in a vehicle when another auto pulled up and someone inside it shot him in the chest, police said. Police have stated they have promising leads in the case.

Her video was still paying as she fled the auto, screaming for help. Family members have said she's about four months pregnant.

6N: England edges Wales 21-16 in Cardiff
Jones is right though, after seeing Ireland put up a score against Italy this weekend, then England will have to do the same. Meanwhile, head coach Rob Howley admitted a lack of composure in the final 10 minutes cost Wales a famous win.

"Our consciences are shaken and our hearts are broken", Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel said in a statement Tuesday evening. Among the other shooting victims were 12-year-old Kanari Gentry Bowers and 11-year-old Takiya Holmes.

The man was a passenger in a auto when another vehicle pulled up and someone fired shots, hitting the man, according to police.

"My gut is telling me that when we finally find this guy, we're going to find that he's a repeat gun offender". Authorities have not released his name or the circumstances of the shooting.

Police have confirmed the authenticity of the video and it is part of their investigation, spokesman Frank Giancamilli said. That violence has continued this year, with January ending with 51 homicides, the highest total since January 1999 when there were 55. At the time of the shooting, Breunna was filming the threesome's journey over Facebook Live, and she happened to catch the gunshots on camera. He took himself to Norwegian American Hospital and was stabilized at Stroger Hospital, police said. "We just can not afford to continue to see our children being shot down for things that they have no involvement in".
