The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in multiple colour options like Black, White, Gold, Ceramic which are also priced the same. While the base variant is available at Rs 9,999, the 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory is priced at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory is priced at Rs 12,999. What is interesting to note is the fact that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was Xiaomi's first device to come with a fingerprint sensor. On the front, it sports a 5 megapixel camera with selfie beautification mode.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that will be available in the Indian market is by all external means the same device that was made official for China.

Design wise Redmi Note 4 has greatly improvised on the Redmi Note 3. For graphics, Redmi Note 4 is powered by Adrneo 506 GPU. All variants support microSD cards via the hybrid Dual SIM tray. As you try zooming in a bit, the Redmi Note 3 instantly starts losing details, whereas the photos shot on the Redmi Note 4 look quite better. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by a 4100mAh battery, measures 151x76x8.35mm, and weighs 175 grams.

After launching the device in China a year ago and after all the much hype created in previous few days, Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi Note 4 today in India. The Snapdragon 625 is notably the first 600-series chipset to be built on a power-efficient 14nm process.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was announced in India in March previous year.

The camera setup on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is comprised of a 13MP BSI CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual-tone flash.

While the Redmi Note 3 came in two variants of 2GB RAM alongwith 16GB storage and 3GB RAM alongwith 32GB storage, Xiaomi has notched up their game a bit with their latest Note device.

The predecessor Redmi Note 3 packed in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC - a processor we ended up absolutely loving.

The Redmi Note 4, on the other hand, seemingly concentrates on improving the battery life from its predecessor. Plus Xiaomi is ending the flash sale model for this phone, and this time the Redmi Note 4 goes straight on open sale.
