Lockdown at US Air Force Base Lifted

The lockdown was lifted after Security Forces sweeps were completed at 11:38 a.m.

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base went on lockdown Monday morning, citing unconfirmed 'reports of gunshot sounds.'.

"The base is now on lock down".

They later said in a news release that reports of gunshot sounds were unconfirmed.

Two schools are also inside the base.

No one was being allowed on base, so traffic backed up near the gates.
