Console features
The console version will have specific new features for each platform with achievement based game-play, special "Karma Powers" and the Nintendo DS version will have the first full life simulation. EA say that gamers will be able to "play with life like never before." PlayStation 3 and Xbox users will be able to post achievements on their Facebook and Twitter accounts and share their creations with other players from around the world.
The Nintendo DS version will enable gamers to use the stylus to create a home for their sims and control nearly every aspect from walls and floors to decor and textures. The stylus will also enable players to "sculpt" faces, choose hair and clothing and decide the kind of personalities their sims have. A story mode allows you to control many sims with a sims family.
Executive Producer at EA, Ben Bell, said of the latest release "The Sims fans have been anxiously awaiting the next generation release of console and handheld games for the series, and we've been working hard to give them the most robust The Sims experience to date,"
